Beijing International Studies University admits international students in English taught undergraduate programs: Translation and Interpretation
1.Qualification for applicant
(i)Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health and nice behavior
(ii)Applicants for Bachelor’s degree must have completed at least senior high school studies and should be generally under the age of 35
2.Application Materials
(i)Application Form
(ii)A notarized scan copy of the applicants’ highest diploma and academic record.
(iii)Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must have attached notarized Chinese or English translations.
(iv)Transcripts (notarized scan copy) in languages other than Chinese or English must have attached Chinese or English translations
(v)2 passport-sized pictures
(vi)Scan copy of the first page of applicant valid and ordinary passport
3.Study Duration &Tuition Fee:
Bachelor’s degree takes 4 years in all English taught undergraduate programs
A tuition fee is 22,000 CNY/year

Master Degree/Postgraduate/PG Programs in English Medium
Beijing International Studies University admits international students for master’s degree in its English taught masters programs: Tourism Management, International Conference Interpretation, MTI (Interpretation) and MTI (Translation)
1.Qualification for applicant
(i)Applicants for Master’s degree must have completed at least Bachelor’s degree
(i)Should be non-Chinese citizens in good health holding a valid foreign passport
(ii)For postgraduate programs: 18-50 years old, in good health condition, at least holding undergraduate diploma
(iii)Recommending by two professors or associate professors
2.Application Materials
(i)Application Form
(ii)Scan copy of a notarized bachelor’s degree or equivalent and notarized transcripts in English or Chinese.
(iii)Two letters of recommendation from professors at or associate professor
(iv)Scan copy of the first page of applicant valid and ordinary passport
(v)2 passport-sized pictures
(vi)Scan copy of English proficiency test certificate for applicant from non-native English speaker countries
3.Study Duration &Tuition Fee:
Masters degree takes 2 years
A tuition fee is 25,000 CNY/Year
