Beijing Normal University admits international students for master’s degree in its English taught masters programs: (i) Comparative Education, (ii) management of higher education (iii) public management (iv) environmental science (v) world economy (vi) Human geography and (vii) Law
1.Qualification for applicant
(1)Master program applicant should hold a qualification which is equivalent to or above a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
(2)Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport
(3)Aged under 50 years
(4)Recommending by two professors or associate professors
2.Application Materials
(1)Application Form
(2)Scan copy of a notarized bachelor’s degree or equivalent and notarized transcripts in English or Chinese
(3)Two letters of recommendation from professors at or associate professor
(4)Scan copy of the first page of applicant valid and ordinary passport
(5)Scan copy of English proficiency test certificate for applicant from non-native English speaker countries
(6)Two passport-sized photos with the name of applicant and school applied for written on the back
3.Study Duration &Tuition Fee:
Masters degree takes 2 years in all English taught master programs
A tuition fee is 34,000 CNY/Year - 49,000 CNY/year

Doctoral Degree/PHD Programs in English Medium
Beijing Normal University admits international students for Doctoral/PhD degree in one English taught program: Comparative Education, Educational leadership and policy
1. Qualification for applicant
(1)Doctoral program applicant should hold a qualification which is equivalent to or above a
Master’s degree from a Chinese university
(2)Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport
(3)Aged under 50 years
(4)Recommending by two professors or associate professors
2. Application Materials

(2)Scan copy of a notarized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and notarized transcripts in English or Chinese
(3)Two letters of recommendation from professors at or associate professor
(4)Scan copy of the first page of applicant valid and ordinary passport
(5)Scan copy of the financial support statement with signature
(6)Scan copy of English proficiency test certificate for applicant from non-native English speaker countries
(7)Two passport-sized photos with the name of applicant and school applied for written on the back

Doctoral degree takes 3 years
Tuition fee is 33,000 CNY/Year
