Dalian Jiaotong University (DJTU) welcomes international students and the English medium programs mean the teaching can be experienced for more international student around the world. Whatever the international students study, they will soon make friends from across the world. Since from 1982, DJTU had connected the international partnership with 40 countries. At present, it has approximately 90 international students studying here. Most of them come from different countries. To expand the international influence, in 1998, it founded the Aien International Institute of Dalian Jiaotong University for cultivating the international talents in China. The Aien now has 4 sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate programs, which are taught with Australian and US universities. In 2004, it settled the China-Japan Friendship Dalian Center for Human Resource Development for developing the software development, engineering management, production and operation management training plans. As the increasing level in international education, it has a strong background in international faculty, which has 17 honorary professors and 22 visiting professor from foreign countries.
