Hebei Medical University owns 6 directly affiliated hospitals, 5 of them are level three first-class hospitals, and there are more than 4500 sickbeds. In addition, there are other 17 non-directly affiliated hospitals, 60 teaching hospitals and internship bases. The six directly affiliated hospitals are The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University, The Third Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University, The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University, The Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of Hebei Medical University and The Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Hebei Medical University. Among them, the first five hospitals are level three first-class hospitals. These affiliated hospitals provide international students with medical training and clinical rotation to lay the foundation for their qualification as a doctor after graduation. International students can finish internship in China or finish it when back to their home country.
