At present, the university has set up several scholarships, supporting for local programs, university graduate programs, national bilateral projects, and Shanghai Cooperation Organization University Scholarship programs to encourage foreign students to improve their academic performance. The school makes full use of "Gansu Silk Road Special Scholarship" to expand the enrollment of students from countries along the "Belt and Road". The school has set up a principal scholarship to attract and fund more outstanding international students to study at the school. All doctorates, masters and undergraduate majors are open to international students. Now There are 327 international students from 34 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States, including 8 doctoral students, 179 master's degree students, 98 undergraduate students and 42 language students. International students major in management, civil engineering, chemical engineering, computer, communications, electrical, materials, energy and other majors, distributed in 14 colleges.
