Nanchang Hangkong University started international students’ education in autumn, 2008 by registering two students from Nepal. Now the number of International students has reached over one hundred and ninety, coming from the US, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Ghana, Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, Thailand, India, Nigeria, Rwanda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Angola, Cambodia, Turkmenistan, Tonga, Somalia, Mozambique, Yemen, Central Africa, Micronesia, Antiqua and Barbuda, altogether 25 countries. The University has successfully initiated nine English-medium bachelor’s degree programs for foreign students such as Aeronautical Engineering, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering, etc. Besides, the University enrolls a certain number of South Korean youngsters and a few Europeans for the short-term language and culture program every year. Nanchang Hangkong University is one of the universities designated by the Ministry of Education of P.R. China to admit International students under Chinese Government Scholarships Program.
