Nanjing Government Scholarship
1. Qualification for Applicant
1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens
2) Applicants are willing to abide by laws and rules of China, as well as regulations of the university. Respect culture and customs of Chinese people, with good character, and in good health
3) Applicants for undergraduate studies are required to provide scan copy of senior high school transcripts and under the age of 25
4) Applicants for master’s degree program must have Bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35
5) Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40
6) Applicants should have excellent records and excellent ability to do research
7) Applicants should not be holding scholarship of any other category
2. Application Materials

(2) Applicants for undergraduate studies are required to provide scan copy of senior high school transcripts. Applicants for other categories of studies also need to provide relevant transcripts.
(3) Two Recommendation Letters from Professors or associate professors written in Chinese or English
(4) Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form and the Report on Blood Examination
(5) Scan copy of passport first page (valid and ordinary passport)
(6) Applicant who have ever worked, need to submit the working certificate
(7) Any published paper, proof of Patents or Academic research
(8) Two passport size photos
All requirement documents for scholarship application should be in English or Chinese or attached with translations in English or Chinese.
Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship
Jiangsu Provincial Government has set up the "Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship" for international students in order to promote the development of higher education of International students in Jiangsu, to further improve the profile of Jiangsu Education to the world, to highlight the brand of "Study in Jiangsu" and to make Jiangsu a preferred province for international students. This scholarship will be provided to those excellent overseas students or scholars to undertake full time study in universities and colleges of Jiangsu. It will also include those non-degree program students and exchange students in accordance with educational exchange agreements and MOUs between the Jiangsu Provincial Government and the governments of other states, institutions, universities and international organizations.

3) Scan copy of highest diploma/degree certificate. High school students or university students shall also provide Certificate of Enrollment from the school or the university they are studying in. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
4) Scan copy of academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
5) Recommendation letters: Applicants for postgraduate studies must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors with contact details of referees.
