1.For international students in group
Southern Medical University offers international students in group airport pick up service from the local airport - Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to the campus. It is around 50 minutes from the airport to the University. But international students should send detailed departure, transfer and arrival schedule to us minimum 3 days in advance so that the university can pick up without any delay.
Airport Pick-up Service is only available during on-duty hours in Registration time.
2.For individuals
For individuals, the Airport Pick-up service whether available or not, you may send email to us to inquiry. If Airport Pick-up service is not available, the international student may take a taxi. It will take about 50 minutes and the taxi fare will be approximately 100-120 CNY (Chinese currency cash is required). There are also commuter buses at the airport every 30 minutes. It is around 40 minutes drive to the downtown (Guangyuan Station) at cost of 12 CNY. After arriving at the downtown, you can take a taxi to the campus of Southern Medical University at cost of 30 CNY.
