Xuzhou Medical College starts to enroll international students from 2005, and currently has approximately 300 international medical students, including including 4 doctoral candidates, 12 master degree students. They are from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Comoros, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Nigeria, Ghana, Dr Congo, and Singapore.
Xuzhou Medical College has opened English Medium Programs of Medical Bachelor/Undergraduate Degree (including MBBS), Master/Postgraduate Degree and Doctoral /PHD Degree to international students. Since Xuzhou Medical College entered the colleges list of recruiting MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)(English Medium) international students, the college devotes great efforts to develop international students education and establishes a group of experts and teachers with rich teaching experience. In addition, Xuzhou Medical College hires foreign teachers to give medical teachers English training, organizes medical teachers to exchange and learn from other universities, and sends excellent medical teachers to have short-term training in abroad.
