Answer: The program is fully English medium program.
 
2. How is the living standard in Ma'anshan city? What about the canteen in the University?
 
Answer: The living cost here is medium, for example, about 100 USD for your food cost per month. There are six student canteens in Eastern Campus of Anhui University of Technology, providing various dishes, cuisines and snacks with reasonable price, which is highly praised by the students.
 
3. How can I arrive in Ma'anshan city, the location of University?
 
Answer: There is no airport in Ma'anshan, the recommended route is to fly to Nanjing Lukou International Airport and then take the direct bus or take a taxi to Ma'anshan (around 55 minutes). If there is no direct flight to Nanjing, the recommended flight to Nanjing is transit from Hong Kong to Nanjing (around 2.5 hours), or transit from Beijing to Nanjing (around 2 hours), or transit from Shanghai to Nanjing (around 1 hour), or transit from Guangzhou to Nanjing (around 2.3 hours). Students can choose the travel route according to their location.
 
4. Can you send a vehicle to take us from the local airport to the University?
 
Answer: Anhui University of Technology offers international students Airport Pick-up service from Nanjing Lukou International Airport to the campus since there is no airport in Ma'anshan. But international students should book in advance and send detailed departure, transfer and arrival schedule to us in advance so that the university can pick up without any delay.
 
5. How can I exchange some Chinese currency for my pocket money when I just arrived in China?
 
Answer: Students can exchange some Chinese currency in bank for shuttle/bus ticket fare and pocket money in the big international airport when they arrive in China. And students can buy telephone card from business counter in the airport to give international call and domestic call if students need.
 
6. How are the transportation, telecom and internet in MaAnShan City?
 
Answer: There are four train stations and many buses in Ma'anshan to many cities in China. Ma'anshan port is one of the ten big ports of the Yangtze River, Wanjiang No.1 Port and the important steel distribution base. There are convenient public facilities for telecom and internet, you can buy telecom card to call in any time and there are lots of internet pub for going on internet.
 
7. How is the climate in Ma'anshan City?
 
Answer: Ma'anshan has a subtropical monsoon climate, four seasons, the annual average temperature of 15.7 °C(60.26 °F), the annual average rainfall of 1060 mm. Its climate is similar to other cities in the Yangtze River Delta, with lower humidity that makes its summers and winters less extreme. There are frequent showers during July and August.

Answer: Even though the program is instructed in English, but international students must study Chinese language according to Ministry of Education, China. Chinese language classes are just offered in the first two years, three times per week, and international students are required to pass the basic level. Besides, it will be helpful for students in daily life if they learn some Chinese language.
