Admission at Chongqing Normal University, China for International Education

Master Degree/Postgraduate/PG Programs in English Medium:

Master’s programs at Chongqing Normal University admit international students in English taught course -  Biology and Ecology which lead to Master degree.

1. Applicant Qualification

(1) Between 18 and 55 years old; in good health; non-Chinese passport holder;

(2) With a bachelor degree or equivalent;

(3) Good English proficiency for English Medium programs.

2. Application Materials 

(1) Application Form  

(2) Scan copy of highest diploma. University students or applicants employed shall provide proof of studying or employment on application. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English; 

(3) Applicants for master’s degree studies need to provide notarized scan copies of their undergraduate transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English; 

(4) Scan copy of study or research plan: in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words); 

(5) Scan copies of two recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors. Recommendation letters should have the signatures of professors or associate professors; 

(6) Scan copies of transcripts of HSK test or other certificates of Chinese Proficiency (if applicable); 

(7) Scan copy of published academic papers or other academic achievements; 

(8) Scan copy of two recent photos (white background, in passport size). Please write down the applicant’s name and major at the back of the photo; 

(9) Scan copy of  the applicant’s passport; 

(10) Scan copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form 

3. Duration and Tuition Fees

The Master degree program at Chongqing Normal University takes 3 years.  

Tuition fee is 19,000CNY per academic year for Biology and Ecology program.
