Dalian municipal government scholarship
To further promote international education at Dalian, and to encourage more excellent international students studying at Dalian, Dalian municipal government decide to set up Dalian municipal government scholarship for international students with good academic results.
1. Qualifications
(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
(2) Applicants must obey the Chinese government and institutions of higher education laws, rules and regulations.
(3) Applicants must have outstanding academic results.
(4) Applicants for Bachelor degree must have senior school diplomas under the age of 30. Applicants for Master degree must have Bachelor’s degree diplomas under the age of 35. Applicants for Doctoral degree must have Master’s degree diplomas under the age of 40.
(5) Applicants should not be holding scholarships of any other category supported by Chinese Government or local governments in China.
2. Application Materials
(1) Application Form.
(2) Notarized scan copy of the highest diploma should be submitted. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
(3) Notarized scan copies of Transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
(4) A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (more than 1000) for Master degree and Doctoral degree.
(5) Scan copy of passport.
(6) Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors for Master Degree and Doctoral degree.

International students who study at Dalian Polytechnic University more than one year with outstanding academic results can apply for Dalian Polytechnic University Scholarship. There are three kinds of scholarship international students can apply, first-class scholarship, second-class scholarship and third-class scholarship.
Individual scholarship for activities
International students who study at Dalian Polytechnic University with excellent performance in activities, and outstanding academic results can apply for individual scholarship for activities.
