Guilin Medical University has 6 directly affiliated hospitals: The Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical University,The Second Affiliated Hospital, The Affiliated Nanxi Hospital , The Third People’s Hospital of Guilin, The Third People’s Hospital of Guilin, The Affiliated Wuzhou Red Corss Hospital. In addition, it has 22 clinical teaching hospitals and more than 80 teaching practice bases. After the 5 year studying in Guilin Medical University, final year MBBS students can do internship in one of GLMU’s affiliated hospitals or in their home countries.
The one year's MBBS internship or rotation will cover some practice in the subjects or departments of hospitals in many medical branches to ensure international students to master clinical skills in vocational training and independent medical practice.
