Excellent international students who meet the requirements of Hainan Government Scholarship studying degree programs at Hainan Normal University can apply for this scholarship to encourage them study hard.
1. Qualification for Applicant
(1) Applicants should be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
(2) Education background and age limit:
Applicants for Bachelor’s degree studies must have high school diploma and be under the age of 30.
Applicants for Master’s degree studies must have bachelor’s degree with two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors and be under the age of 35.
Applicants for Doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree with two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors and be under the age of 40.
(3) English proficiency certificate for applicant from Non-English speaking countries: 78 or above in TOEFL, or 6.0 or above in IELTS.
(4) Applicants must have excellent grades.
(5) Applicants should not be supported simultaneously by Chinese Government Scholarships, or other scholarships.
2. Application Materials
(1) Application Form.
(2) A notarized scan copy of the highest diploma should be submitted.
(3) Notarized scan copies of Transcripts.
(4) Two letters of recommendation by professors or associate professors.
(5) Scan copies of Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
(6) Scan copies of passport.
(7) Notarized scan copy of certificate of TOEFL or IELTS for applicants from Non-English speaking countries.
