HEBUT Distinguished Student Scholarship
1. Program & Number: 10 Doctoral Scholarships, 10 Post-graduate Scholarships.
2. Major: especially for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electric Science and Technology, Commercial and Management, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Control Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Civil Engineering.

(2). Applicants with studying duration more than 6 months (including 6 months) shall be issued with "Foreigner Physical Examination Record.
(3). Scan copy of the highest level of education certificate and transcripts. Other languages rather than English must be submitted with English translation. Applicants for master’s degree programs shall provide a notarized proof of undergraduate diploma; Applicants for doctoral degree programs shall provide a notarized proof of postgraduate diploma. Certificate of Enrollment or Certificate of Employment issued by the school or the unit shall be provided, if the applicant is a university student or an employee.
(4). Study Plan (written in English, no less than 200 words).
(5). Applicants applying for master's, PhD, are required to provide Letters of Recommendation from two professors (or associate professors) written in English (including specific information such as headline, unit name of referee, address, phone number, fax and other ).
Note: The scholarship review will be launched by HEBUT every year. All of the scholarships are only provided to the incoming freshman.
Scholarship for New-coming International Students Hebei University of Technology
Scholarship for International Undergraduates of Hebei University of Technology is offered by the university in an attempt to promote the development of international students in the university and encourage excellent international students to study at the college.
1. Application Requirements
(1). Applicants should follow the rules and regulations of China and Hebei University of Technology with hard working, standards of right behavior, respecting teachers and being friendly with China.
(2). The applicants need to register on time.
(3). The applicants need to make a pull payment of tuition fees and the housing.
(4). Self-supporting international students.
2. Award of the Scholarship
(1). The scholarship will be awarded completely in two times at the end of each semester;
(2). The allowance will be given monthly.
Scholarship for International Undergraduates Hebei University of Technology
“Scholarship for International Undergraduates of Hebei University of Technology” is offered by the university in an attempt to promote the development of international students in our university and encourage excellent international students to study at Hebei University of Technology.
1. Application Requirements
1). Applicants should follow the rules and regulations of China and HEBUT with hard working, standards of right behavior, respecting teachers and being friendly with China.
2). Applicants should pass all examinations last year with a minimum average score of 60 points.
3). Applicants should not have any forms of disciplinary action by the university.
4). Applicants should have more than 90% attendance last year.
5). With the same condition, the applicants participating national or provincial Chinese skills competitions and getting the corresponding reward is preferred.
6). The international students, who already have other types of scholarships, cannot apply for the “Scholarship for International Undergraduates of Hebei University of Technology”.
2. Scholarship Standards
1). The international students, who study for Bachelor’s degree in HEBUT, are able to apply for the scholarship at the beginning of the second school year.
2). The ratio is 10% of the sophomores, junior and senior international students.
3). International undergraduates’ scholarship is divided into the First-class Scholarship and the Second-class Scholarship with the proportion of 30% and 70% of the total number of the school year to obtain a scholarship respectively.
4). The international undergraduates, who take an extension of study in HEBUT cannot apply for the scholarship; the students who take part in the military service or the ones who resume school and are eligible for the application can apply for the scholarship.
5). International sophomores only can apply for the Second-class scholarship.
