Nanjing Government Scholarship

Nanjing Government Scholarship is established by Nanjing government, Jiangsu province aiming to support more excellent international student to study and do scientific research in Nanjing. Entrusted by Nanjing government, China Pharmaceutical University recruits international students supported by the scholarship across the world. 
 
Eligibility Requirements
 
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals and in good health.
2. Education background and age limit:
Applicants for bachelor’s degree program must be a high school graduate and under the age of 28.
Applicants for master degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35;
Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
3. Applicants should have a competitive academic record.
4. Applicants should have strong scientific research ability.
 
Application Materials
 
1. Application form
2. The notarized scan copy of highest diploma and transcripts. If applicants are university students or already employed, they should also provide documents of being university students or on-post employees. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
3. Scan copy of the passport and two recent photos (white background, 35mm × 45mm in size)
4. A study or research proposal in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words)
5. Two letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors in Chinese or English (applicable to Master and doctoral applicants)
6. Published academic papers or other academic achievements (if applicable)
7. Scan copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The medical examination results will be valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to take this factor into consideration as they plan to take the medical examination.
 
Jiangsu Jasmine Scholarship
 
Categories of applicants
 
1. Excellent foreign students who wish to undertake full time study in universities and colleges in Jiangsu Province. 
2. Non-degree program students and exchange students in accordance with educational exchange agreements and MOUs between the Jiangsu Provincial Government and the governments of other states, institutions, universities and international organizations. 
 
Criteria & Eligibility
 
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. 
2. Education background and age limit: 
Applicants for both the college and undergraduate programs must have a senior high school diploma with a good academic performance and be under the age of 30.
Applicants for the master’s degree program must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
Applicants for the doctoral degree program must have a master’s degree and be under the age of 40. 
3. Applicants must agree to obey the relevant laws of the PRC and meet the admission requirements of the host universities or colleges. 
4. Applicants must have a good academic record. 
5. Applicants cannot be recipients of other scholarships offered by Chinese government, local governments or other organizations simultaneously. 
 
Application documents
 
1. Scanned copy of the passport photo page. 
2. Highest diploma / degree certificate (notarized scan copy). High school students or university students shall also provide Certificate of Enrollment from the school or the university they are studying in. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English. 
3. Academic transcripts (notarized scan copy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English. 
4. Recommendation letters: Applicants for postgraduate studies must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors with contact details of referees.
