Scholarships in North China University of Technology for International Student

In order to attract the most talented overseas students to North China University of Technology’s post-graduate, under-graduate, and short-term programs, and to reward outstanding achievement, scholarships may be granted to overseas students. 
 
Scholarship Granting and Quota
 
NCUT grants three levels of student scholarship:
 
1. Postgraduate student scholarship:
 
For students applying to masters or other post-graduate programs at NCUT:
 
(1). All applicants must hold a minimum of a bachelor degree and be under 45 years of age.
(2). The scholarship may last for no more than two academic years.
 
2. Undergraduate student scholarship: 
 
For students applying to bachelors or other undergraduate programs at North China University of Technology
 
(1). All applicants must at least have completed high school and be under 35 years of age. 
(2). The scholarship may last for no more than one academic year.
 
3. Trainee scholarship: for students applying for short-term training programs at NCUT.
 
4. Beijing Municipal Government scholarship 
 
1. Qualification for applicants
 
(1). Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens
(2). Outstanding high school academic certificate for undergraduate applicant  
(3). Applicants for undergraduate studies are required to provide notarized copy of senior high school transcripts
(4). Applicants for master’s degree program must have Bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35
(5). Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40
(6). Applicants should have excellent records and excellent ability to do research 
 
2. Application materials 
 
(1).  Application Form 
(2). Scan copy of the applicants’ highest diploma and academic record. If applicants are university students or already employed, they should also provide verification documents. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must have attached Chinese or English translations. Transcripts (notarized copy) in languages other than Chinese or English must have attached Chinese or English translations.
(3). A study plan written in English which shall be less than 500 words 
(4). The Foreigner Physical Examination Form should be filled out in English.
(5). Scan copy of the front page of a valid passport.
(6). The TOEFL iBT score of 70 points at least, or IELTS score at least 5.5 or the relevant certificates of English as the working and learning language for university study, if non-native English speakers apply the program.
