International students will be provided with opportunities for different types of scholarships. In order to qualify for scholarship, applicants must meet specified requirements. Scholarships are awarded based on the thorough evaluation of all merits in terms of academic performance, leadership competence and etc.
1. Dean Scholarship
From: Dean of Medical School, Tongji University
Eligibility: the 2nd year MBBS students and onwards
Requirements: excellent academic performance, proactive participation in the extra-curricular activities, good faith and willingness to help classmates as well as the notarized transcripts from previous year of study
2. Tongji Presidential Scholarship
From: President of Tongji University
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree International Students
Requirements: excellent academic performance, notarized transcripts from previous year of study, certificates of good involvement in activities, outstanding achievements such as publications, awards and etc.
3. Shanghai Government Scholarship (Class C)
From: Shanghai Municipal Government
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree International Students
Requirements: excellent academic performance and notarized transcripts from previous year of study, works or artworks published, awards obtained in student competitions, recommendation of International Student Office of the department
