Scholarships in University of Nottingham Ningbo China for International Student

To encourage academic excellence, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China is now offering a comprehensive and expanding range of full and partial scholarships to international students. 

Non-competitive scholarships for undergraduate students:

(1). Family scholarships 

The scholarship is for the children, brothers, sisters, husbands or wives of students who are currently registered on award bearing courses at The University of Nottingham Ningbo or who have already successfully completed award-bearing courses.

(2). Study abroad and international exchange alumni scholarships

Scholarships  are available to students who: have attended The University of Nottingham on a Study Abroad or International Exchange program AND are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND register on a new full-time degree program at Nottingham in September 2016. The scholarship is for the first year only and is given once the evidence has been completed and Study Abroad or Exchange status has been confirmed by UNNC.

(3). 2+2/1+2 program scholarships

International students who choose to undertake a 2+2 or 1+2 degree, for the remaining two years' stay in Nottingham UK, will receive a 2+2/1+2 program scholarship from the University of Nottingham.

(4). The University of Nottingham Ningbo China High Achievers Scholarship

All students achieving A-level grades of AAA, IB grades of 36 points, HKDSE 5*55, or an equivalent result, will receive a scholarship. No application is required for this scholarship.

Non-competitive scholarships for postgraduate students:

(1). Alumni Scholarship

In recognition of the academic ability of University of Nottingham graduates, students applying for postgraduate studies at The University of Nottingham Ningbo China and who have previously studied at undergraduate level at The University of Nottingham, UK, China or Malaysia are entitled to this scholarship.

(2). Family Scholarship

This scholarship is for the children, brothers, sisters, husbands or wives of students who are currently registered on award bearing courses at The University of Nottingham Ningbo or who have already successfully completed award-bearing courses.

(3). Study Abroad and International Exchange Alumni Scholarship

Scholarships are available to students who: have attended The University of Nottingham on a Study Abroad or International Exchange program AND are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND register on a new full-time degree program at Nottingham. The scholarship is for the first year only and is given once the evidence has been completed and Study Abroad or Exchange status has been confirmed by UNNC.

Competitive scholarships for undergraduate students:

(1). Ningbo International Student Government Scholarships for Academic Excellence 

There are approximately 30 undergraduate scholarships. Students who would like to apply for this scholarship will need to prepare the following documents: Course application form and documents, Scholarship Application form, Personal statement (500 words). 

Competitive scholarships for postgraduate students:

(1). Ningbo Government International Student Scholarship for Academic Excellence

This scholarship is awarded to approximately twelve academically talented applicants.

Students who would like to apply for this scholarship should hold, or be on course to achieve a 2:1. They will need to prepare the following documents: Application form, a personal statement of 500 words. Students may go a maximum of 10% under, or over the word count. Students may choose to use the personal statement from their main course application, or submit a second statement.

(2). The University of Nottingham Ningbo China High Achievers Scholarship

Each year the university rewards 25 international applicants with this scholarship. Scholarships are largely reserved for students with outstanding academic results, but consideration is also given to students with exceptional extra-curricular achievements or employment accolades. All master applicants are automatically assessed for the awards.
