In East Garden of Mafangshan Campus, there are six campus canteens. The First Canteen and the Second Canteen provide set meals. Beside the Second Canteen, there is a restaurant offering delicious food with reasonable price. Saute dishes, snacks, steamed stuffed bun and steamed buns are available in the Third Canteen. The Fourth Canteen and the Fifth Canteen offer various and delicious cuisines and snacks to the students. The Sixth Canteen is located near the Southwest Gate. There is one canteen in West Garden of Mafangshan Campus, set meals on the first floor and buffet on the second floor. Nanhu Lake New Campus also provides delicious food. Yujiatou Campus has restaurants and buffet.
The price of food in the canteens is much lower than that outside since there is national college student aid. Wuhan University of Technology is highly praised for the delicious food with low price.
Apart from campus canteens, delicious cuisines and snacks of Wuhan are also much favored by international students, such as Hot Dry Noodle, Duck Neck, Doupi (three delicacy stuffed skin of bean milk), Mianwo (round and thin fried dough with a crispy center), Tangbao (a steamed dumpling filled with minced meat and gravy), Tangyuan (stuffed dumplings made of glutinous rice flou) and Boiled Dumplings, etc.
