It is also clear that mountain forests are protected and not allowed to be cut down. At the end of the Tang Dynasty and the beginning of the Five Dynasties, Du Guangting listed Wuyi Mountain as one of the thirty-six cave heavens in the world in “The Record of Dongtian Fudi”, and called it “the sixteenth liter of Zhenyuan cave heaven”. 5.Geography & Transportation

Wuyishan is located in Yanshan County of Jiangxi province and Wuyishan city of Fujian province.

Wuyishan mainly distributes the metamorphic rock series of the pre Sinian and Sinian, Mesozoic volcanic rocks, granites and clastic rocks.

In the late Mesozoic era, a strong volcanic eruption occurred in Wuyishan, followed by massive granite intrusion. It has been found that there are abundant volcanic institutions in this area, which is a typical structural feature of the ring Pacific belt in eastern Asia. The red conglomerate in the late Cretaceous is the main body of the Danxia landform.

The crustal movement of Mesozoic era laid the basic framework of Wuyishan landform. The development of Wuyishan geomorphology is also obvious. The peaks above 1500m in the western region are mainly composed of hard condensate lava and rhyolite, and the red sand shale areas in the East are often developed with wider Valley and basin. Therefore, the abundant geomorphic types in Wuyi Mountains are the result of geological structure, flow erosion, weathering and denudation, gravity collapse and so on.

Wuyishan scenic spot is convenient, air, railway, highway and other transportation methods can be arrived, especially since the opening and operation of June 28, 2015, the convenience of Shanghai, Beijing and other cities to Wuyishan has been greatly strengthened.
