On-Campus Hostel

Zhejiang University School of Medicine offers international students on-campus accommodation in its Cuibai Lyceum Dormitory. Zijingang Campus (Medical Campus), the main campus of Zhejiang University, is located in the northwest of Hangzhou City.

The well equipped dormitory building executes hotel style management. Double room is available to international students; the roommate could be assigned by the University or chosen by himself/herself after reaching the University. Separate floor accommodations are provided for male and female students. Students living in school dormitories should observe Regulations on International Students Dormitory Management. Anyone who violates the regulations shall be penalized accordingly.

The hostel building equips with basic bedding, tables and chairs, bookcase, air conditioner, telephone, network interface and attached bathroom with 24 hours hot water supply.

Students living on campus should pay for housing promptly. Hostel fee is paid by year in general, or paid by semester with reasonable reasons provided. The accommodation fee includes certain quota of fee electricity and water. Students are required to pay internet fee by themselves and the electricity and water beyond the quota.

Note: A refundable accommodation deposit is required before international students check in and the quota of free electricity and water is subject to change. Please book accommodation in advance after receiving the admission letter.

Rent off the Campus

Off-campus accommodation is also permitted for international students at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. International students should first fill in application form and must be approved by the School of International Education if they want to live off campus. Students to rent off campus must sign formal and legal lease contract with the landlord and apply for “Foreigners’ Temporary Residence Certificate” in the local Police Station within 24 hours after moving to the rented house. If the international student changes the address, he/she should register at School of International Education in time and apply for new "Foreigners" Temporary Residence Certificate” within 24 hours after moving into the new rented house. International students to live off campus should leave their address and phone number to School of International Education. International students living off campus will be punished of large amount of fines if they haven’t registered for “Foreigners’ Temporary Residence Certificate” in the local Police Station within 24 hours after moving to the rented house.
