Science Degree Program in China - Climate Change

1. Introduction

Climate Change refers to the change of the climate’s average state over time, that is, one or two of the average state of the climate and the difference (from the average) has significant changes in the statistical significance. The greater the difference, shows the greater the magnitude of climate change, the more unstable the climate state is.

Climate change is the change of climate condition in the long term. The difference in the statistics of the climatic factors, such as temperature and precipitation in different periods, is usually reflected.

2. Main Performance

1) Global Warming, global warming is one of the most pressing problems for human beings, and it is about the future of human beings.

2) Acid Deposition

3) Ozone Depletion

3. Reasons

Climate change may be due to the nature of the internal process, or external forcing, or artificially sustained changes in the composition of the atmosphere and land use. Climate change has both natural factors and human factors.

Greenhouse principle: solar radiation is mainly short wave radiation, surface radiation and atmospheric radiation is the long wave radiation. The atmosphere is strong to the absorption ability of the long wave radiation; the absorption ability of the short wave radiation is relatively weak.

During the day, when the sun is light to the earth, some of the energy is absorbed by the atmosphere, and some are reflected back into the universe. About 47% of the energy is absorbed by the earth's surface.

Night, the earth's surface is in an infrared way to the universe of the absorption of energy during the day, most is absorbed by the atmosphere.
