Bachelor Degree/Undergraduate Programs in English Medium
Dalian Maritime University admits foreign students in 2 specialties taught in English: Nautical Science, Marine Engineering (marine)
1. Qualification for applicant
(1) Applicant must be a foreign citizen in good health.
(2) Applicant must be aged between 18 and 35.
(3) Applicant must possess a valid passport.
(4) Applicant must graduate from an institution equal to Chinese senior high school.
(5) Applicant used to have a Chinese nationality should hold a valid foreign passport or other nationality certificate issued at least 4 years ago. Moreover, during the last 4 years, the length of residence in that country should be more than 2 years.
2. Application materials
(1) Application Form.
(2) Scan copy of the personal information page of passport (Scan copy of a valid Chinese visa is required to submit if an applicant is in China upon application).
(3) Scan copy of Notarized high school diploma or Enrollment Certificate of high school (applicable to this year’s graduates who haven’t received the diploma).
(4) Scan copies of Notarized all high school transcripts.
Note: Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
3. Duration and tuition Fees
All undergraduate programs at Dalian Maritime University take 4 years.
Tuition fees are 30000 CNY/year for all undergraduate programs in English.

Master Degree/Postgraduate/PG Programs in English Medium
Dalian Maritime University masters program has different options taught in English including Logistics Engineering and Management, Business Administration, Law, English Language and Literature, Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.
1. Qualification for applicant
(1) Applicant must be a foreign citizen in good health.
(2) Applicant must be aged between 18 and 40.
(3) Applicant must possess a valid passport.
(4) Applicant must have Bachelor Degree.
(5) Applicant used to have a Chinese nationality should hold a valid foreign passport or other nationality certificate issued at least 4 years ago. Moreover, during the last 4 years, the length of residence in that country should be more than 2 years.
2. Application Materials
(1) Application Form.
(2) Scan copy of the personal information page of passport (Scan copy of a valid Chinese visa is required to submit if an applicant is in China upon application).
(3) Scan copy of Notarized certificate of bachelor’s degree or Enrollment Certificate of bachelor’s degree study (applicable to this year’s graduates who haven’t received the degree certificate).
(4) Scan copies of Notarized all official undergraduate transcripts.
(5) Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
(6) Study Plan, including personal information, education background, work experience, and academic research proposal (no fewer than 2000 Chinese characters in Chinese or no fewer than 2500 words in English).

3. Study Duration &Tuition Fee
Masters degree takes 2-3 years in all programs.
Tuition fees are 24000 CNY/year - 30000 CNY/Year for all Masters Degree programs in English.

Doctoral Degree/PHD Programs in English Medium
Doctorate program at Dalian Maritime University admit international students in English taught courses which lead to doctorate degree including Navigation Science and Technology, Law.
1. Applicant Qualification
(1) Applicant must be a foreign citizen in good health.
(2) Applicant must be aged between 18 and 50.
(3) Applicant must possess a valid passport.
(4) Applicant must have Master Degree.
(5) Applicant used to have a Chinese nationality should hold a valid foreign passport or other nationality certificate issued at least 4 years ago. Moreover, during the last 4 years, the length of residence in that country should be more than 2 years.
