Optics is an important branch of physics. It is also a subject related to optical engineering technology. From the narrow sense, optics is the science about light and vision; generalized optics is the science to study from the generation, transmission, reception and display, focuses on the range of electromagnetic radiation from the microwave, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet rays until the X-ray and gamma ray and intercalation between the material, focusing on the infrared to the ultraviolet band. Light is an electromagnetic wave, with wave-particle duality, the particles of light can be described through quantum mechanics.
