Bachelor Degree/Undergraduate Programs in English Medium
Shanghai Jiao Tong University admits foreign students in 2 specialties taught in English: Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
1. Qualification for applicant
(1) The applicant should be healthy, non-Chinese citizen.
(2) The applicant should be foreign visa holder.
(3) The applicant should have the equivalent of a high school education (or above).
(4) Applicants under 18 years old should submit Guardian's Guarantee Statement.
(5) The applicant should have good command of English and have the ability to take courses in English.
(6) The applicants of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan who have immigrated to other countries must hold foreign visa or nationality certificate for 4 years or above, and in the last 4 years must actually have lived abroad more than 2 years.
2. Application materials
(1) Applicants under 18 years old should provide "Guardian's Guarantee Statement".
(2) One scan copy of passport and two passport size photos.
(3) Scan copy of Official transcripts (or equivalent) from high school, including courses taken.
(4) Scan copy of Senior high school diploma or equivalent (Graduating students should provide an official statement as proof of graduation).

3. Duration and tuition Fees:
All undergraduate programs at Shanghai Jiao Tong University take 4 years.
Tuition fees are 80000 CNY/YEAR for all undergraduate programs.

2. Application Materials
(1) Application form.
(2) Scan copy of notarized Degree certificates (Chinese or English notaries are both acceptable). Students who have not yet graduated should provide an official letter from your university stating the expected graduation date.
(3) Scan copy of notarized Transcripts (Chinese or English notaries are both acceptable).
(4) Scan copy of English Language certificate and score report for non-native English speakers.
(5) Scan copy of Passport.
(6) Two passport-size photos.
(7) Personal statement and study plan.
(8) Two recommendation letters from associate professors or scholars with higher academic titles. Must include the referees’ phone number and email address.
3. Study Duration &Tuition Fee:
Masters degree takes 2-3 years in all programs.
A tuition fee is 100,000 CNY/Yr for students in Business Administration, and 28,900 CNY /Yr for students in other Majors.
