Founded in 1950, Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) is one of the first universities authorized by the Ministry of Education of China to enroll international students. It is the only institution in southwest China specialized in teaching foreign languages such as English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Italian and Arabic.
