Education Degree Program in China - Social Sports Guidance and Management

1. Introduction

Social Sports Guidance and Management program develops senior management personnel with the basic theory, knowledge and skills of social sports, who can be engaged in the field of social sports for organizing and management, consulting and guidance, management and development of mass sports activities, as well as teaching and research work.

Social sports refer to social sports activities that workers, farmers and street residents participates voluntarily, taking physical exercise as the basic means and improving physical and mental health as the main purpose.

2. Training Requirements

The students mainly study the basic theory and basic knowledge of social sports; receive the basic training of social sports work, grasp the basic ability of the organization and management, consulting and guidance, management and development, teaching and scientific research of masses sports activities.

3. Core Abilities

1) Master the basic theory and knowledge of social sports related disciplines;  

2) Master and guide the public sports, health and fitness, leisure and sports in special groups of sports technology;

3) With the basic ability of the organization and management, consulting and guidance, management and development and teaching of masses sports activities;

4) Familiar with the principles, policies, laws and regulations of the sports industry;

5) understand the academic development dynamics of social sports;

6) Master the basic methods of document retrieval and data query, and have certain scientific research and practical work ability.

4. Main Courses

Sports physiology, sports psychology, sports health, introduction to social sports, social sports management, introduction to sports fitness, sports regimen, etc

5. Practice Teaching

Social survey, internship, graduation thesis, etc., the arrangement is at least 20 weeks.

6. Employment Prospects

Social sports guidance and management graduates are generally engaged in fitness coach, elementary school physical education teachers, junior high school physical education teachers and so on.
