Canteens in Sun Yat-sen University, China

1. Canteen

 

There are three Student Canteens, the No.1 Student Canteen is located next to the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is in the West District of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). The No. 5 Student Canteen and Chun Hui Yuan are two-story buildings next to the No.351 Student Dormitory in the East District of SYSU. (Students can pay for their meals using their Campus Card)

Zi Jing Yuan Restaurant has set up a special place for international students. (10-15 CNY/person/meal)

Time for meals: 7:00-9:30, 11:00-13:00, 17:00-22:00 (Chinese time)

The Muslim Canteen is next to the No. 5 Student Canteen in the East District.

There is a supermarket next to the No. 351 Student Dormitory. Opposite of the supermarket is a milk shop. In the shop, there is corn, sausage, biscuits, traditional Chinese rice-pudding, milk, yogurt, eggs, etc.

 

2. Western Style Restaurant

 

There are two western style restaurants on campus, the Wing Kwong Hall and the South Lawn Coffee Shop. The restaurants are located aside the main road from the South Gate to the North Gate, next to the library. The Wing Kwong Hall is a little bit more expensive than other places.
