3. Training Objectives
Agronomy program cultivates senior scientific and technical personnel with the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of crop production, crop genetics and breeding and seed production and management, can be engaged in agriculture and other related departments or units for agriculture related technology and design, promotion and development, operation and management, teaching and scientific research.

The students mainly study the basic theory and basic knowledge of agricultural biological science, agricultural ecology, crop growth and development and law of inheritance, receive basic training in crop production and crop new variety breeding, with the basic ability of crop breeding, crop cultivation and farming, seed production and testing.
