Grassland Science is a new cross subject, taking herbivorous animal forage feed production, urban greening and ecological governance as the main body, using modern biological technology to cultivate new species to study grassland with high yield and good quality in the construction and management of technical system, to create the beauty of the people-oriented urban greening landscape pattern, exploring based on grass ecological control method and the way, realize the industrialization of the grass.
2. Training Objectives
The program trains senior scientific and technical personnel equipped with the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of grassland science (lawn, garden green, grass planting, breeding and processing, artificial grassland construction and management, improving grassland, etc.), can be engaged in agriculture and other related departments or units for grass production and protection technology and design, promotion and development, operation and management, teaching and scientific research, etc.
3. Training Requirements
The students mainly study the basic theory and basic knowledge of agricultural crop science, agricultural ecology, environmental science and grass resources protection, sustainable and efficient use, receive the basic training in the grass resource planning, operation and management, artificial grassland, grass products processing, green lawn, animal husbandry and environmental science and so on, with the basic ability of grassland resources protection, development and management, forage production and processing, lawn green.

2) Master the basic theories and knowledge of agricultural biology, plant production, animal production and environmental science

5) Familiar with agriculture, animal husbandry and grass development related policies and regulations;
