Canteens in Harbin Engineering University, China

There are two major catering centers on campus: Catering Center I - three- storied and Catering Center II- four-storied. Both common dishes and specialty dishes are available according to individual food budget. 

Visit the Campus Catering Centers when you need a hearty breakfast to get off to a good start, a quick lunch before your afternoon classes, or a delicious supper after a whole day work. The dining halls are offering full-service for everyone, including:

Daily Chinese dishes

Snack foods: potato chips, crackers, cookies, candy 

Beverage: hot coffee, cold pop, tea and water, and more. 

Meal time:

Monday to Friday:

Morning: 6:30-8:00

At noon: 10:50-12:30

Night: 16:40-18:30

Saturday to Sunday and holidays:

Morning: 6:50-8:30

At noon: 10:50-12:30

Night: 16:40-18:30

The first floor of Gourmet City:

9:30-22:00 everyday

Dining card credit booth:

Prepaid dining cards can be used to purchase food and beverages at the campus dining halls.

To add money to your card: Use cash to put money on your dining card at dining card credit booth (Catering Center I second floor, or Catering Center II fourth floor).

Canteens of Harbin Engineering University can also help to plan your catered event. From an inform morning coffee to an elegant evening banquet, they will work with you to fulfill your needs. They strive to provide you with fine foods and excellent service at a reasonable cost. The Dining Services staff consists of an Executive Chief and a variety of service professionals with years of experience can help tailor any event to meet and exceed your specifications.

Self-catering:

In many other Chinese universities, kitchens are not provided. However, we are considerate to satisfy our students’ demands. We provide students with kitchens in well-furnished family-resembled apartments. The kitchen is well ventilated and well designed for cooking; students will have a fun time cooking themselves.
