1. Introduction

Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering is a link connecting oil and gas production, processing, distribution and sale, which mainly includes oil and gas field gathering and transportation, long distance transportation pipeline, storage, loading and unloading and urban transportation and distribution systems, etc. Oil and gas storage and transportation engineering program is a cross, high and new technology subject that studies the storage, transportation and management of oil and gas and urban gas. Oil and gas gathering and transportation and storage technology emerges with the development of oil and gas.

3. Training Objectives

The program trains senior engineering and technical personnel with the knowledge of engineering fluid mechanics, physical chemistry, oil and gas storage and transportation engineering, the students can be engaged in the planning, exploration and design, construction project management, research and development of oil and gas storage and transportation engineering in transportation planning and design departments, oil and gas storage and transportation management departments.

4. Training Requirements

The students mainly study the basic theory and basic knowledge of oil and gas storage and transportation process, equipment and facilities, receive the basic training in reading maps and drafting, computer practice, engineering survey, project estimate and budget, with the basic ability of conducting the systematic planning, design, operation and management of oil and gas storage and transportation.

4) With the primary ability to engage in oil and gas gathering and transportation system, long distance oil and gas pipelines, oil and gas storage and loading and unloading systems, urban gas transmission and distribution system planning, design, construction management and operation management;

5) With the primary ability to carry out scientific research and technology development in the field of oil and gas storage and transportation engineering;

6) With strong computer application ability, can skillfully use relevant engineering calculation software to conduct oil and gas storage and transportation engineering process calculation;

7) With strong ability to update the knowledge and innovation ability.
