Resource Recycling Science and Engineering Program in China

1. Introduction

Resource Recycling Science and Engineering program mainly studies science and technology issues related to resource recycling, such as utilization technology of waster resource recycling, remanufacturing of key mechanical components, properties and applications of recycling materials and analysis of energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits. Resource recycling science and engineering is an interdisciplinary subject, involving environmental engineering, chemical engineering and technology, applied chemistry, materials engineering, machinery manufacturing and automation, and electronic information engineering.

2. Training Objectives

Resource recycling science and engineering trains high quality personnel who has solid foundation and wide range of knowledge and outstanding practical ability with basic theory and knowledge of recycling economy engineering and technology. With capability of basic theory research and technology development of recycling economy engineering and technology, these personnel can be engaged in scientific research, engineering and technology development, and management work in the field of resource recycling science and engineering.

3. Training Requirements

Students mainly study basic theory and knowledge of resource recycling science and engineering. Students need to have capability to engage in basic theory research, engineering technology development and management work related to resource recycling science and engineering after training and learning of relevant theory and knowledge of recycling economy engineering and technology.

4. Knowledge and Ability

1) Master basic theory and knowledge of new materials and new energy sources;

2) With ability of identification, recycling, processing, design of materials in primary or deep processing, and equipment selection; with management ability to organize production and control quality;

3) With ability to develop and study new solid waste materials and products with comprehensively utilization of four renewable resources.

Principle of transmission engineering, principles of resource recycling science and engineering, operation of process engineering unit, C language program design, solid waste resource recycled, process engineering equipment, industrial ecology, industrial technology economics, ecological environmental materials, resource recycling and environmental impact assessment, clean production and circular economy, introduction to  technology design, computer application in resource recycling science and engineering, organic chemistry, recycling and utilization of waste polymer materials, cementing materials, ecological building materials

Cleaner production experiment, engineering experiment of waste resources recycled, technology experiment of resources recycling, curriculum design of waste resources recycled, cognition practice, metalworking practice, production practice, graduation practice, curriculum design, graduation design (paper)
