Spatial Information and Digital Technology trains compound, technical and applied senior specialized personnel with deep theoretical basis of software engineering and spatial information technology, communication technology and computer network technology and with certain base of management and economic knowledge. These personnel can use digital engineering technology for digital processing of information, such as environment, humanities, society and economy information, and realize the network transmission, visual expression, and intelligent decision-making.

The students in this program master the basic theory and knowledge of geo spatial information science, resource and environment science, modern surveying and mapping disciplines with solid knowledge of the structure and practice and management capabilities. They have ability to engaged in digitization, network, visualization and intelligent management, spatial information processing and analysis and technology development work of land and resources information, resources and environment information, industry / regional / urban information by using 3S technology, computer technology and network communication technology.
